DJ, Los Angeles
Disposable Magazine x Urban Outfitters
Bianca Lexis is a DJ born and raised in Southern California. She finds joy in making people dance, telling a story with music, and setting a mood when she plays. When she’s not dj-ing parties, visiting Taco Zone, or going for karaoke, she has a monthly radio show on dublab where she plays an array of genres and tastes.
Are you born and raised in Los Angeles?
Kind of - born in south LA and lived in the Inland Empire, just east of LA county, for most of my life. I spent some time in Phoenix after.
Between music and photography, where do you find your inspiration?
With djing, I like to tell a story, paint a picture, set a tone or evoke some kind of emotion. Each song is inspiration for the next in my sets. With photos, it’s similar, but people are my favorite subjects.
Who are the people we see on your pictures?
My nearest and dearest friends.
