Atelier Doré

The team, New York City

We sent Atelier Doré 5 cameras to use and shoot however they pleased. Several members of their editorial team shot a roll each. "What we noticed from shooting our rolls is that the finite nature of only having 27 exposures forced us all to slow down, be thoughtful, wait for our moment, and savor it."

In turn, they wrote a bit about their fun journey as well as a full-on interview with us. See the article A Weekend With Disposable Magazine.

If you could live in a different era?

I think people look back at the past with rose colored glasses. In some ways it would have been amazing to work in magazines in the 90s, or to live in Paris in the 20s. But I wouldn't want to give up all of the progress the world has made since then. I would like to go to a time before smart phones though.

(Christina Holevas, Style Editor)

Sherlock Holmes.

(Bogdana Ferguson, Staff Photographer)

Time travel is suddenly possible, when/where do you go?

Oh, good question, I’d love to see what the future has in store though.
