A Brazilian-American artist and healer based in Los Angeles, Alexandra once spent a week living under a tarp in Oregon, learning to practice magic at a witch camp. In 2010, she directed and starred in her first feature, Mary Marie. Fashion has always been integral to her life and art, and her fashion films have been screened at NY Fashion and Miami Art Basel. She speaks 5 languages, hates elevators and loves green smoothies and watching snakes mate.

What are your plans for this weekend? 

I'm speaking on a panel at the Apple store about my show “Be Here Nowish.” Then on Sunday my girlfriend and I are recording a rap video about yoga.
